Like most deckbuilders, you start with a hand that lets you take basic actions, but as you reach certain locations, or incapacitate guards, you gain more actions/cards. In Agent Decker you play a young secret agent who has to sneak into a heavily guarded facility, rescue a prisoner, and make it out alive. I'm not the greatest fan of deckbuilders, but this one caught my attention, partly for the great art (of the latest edition), but partly also for its theme. Next month I'm going to focus my buying even more. I did make more than one purchase, but I did take more time thinking through what to get. So at this point I don't think this challenge helped me to avoid acquiring a bunch of board gaming related material, but it did make me think a little more. And then four more armies from CoolStuffInc for Neuroshima Hex. From Portal Games I ordered three armies for Neuroshima Hex along with the upgrade kit for Robinson Crusoe and one of the scenarios. It's a good game, and I hope it's going to be expanded or come to print (Yes I know about Superhot the Card Game, it didn't appeal to me).Īs to the other part of the challenge, I didn't actually order a game this month, but I did expand two. I doubt I'd pull this game out very often, if at all, unless there were a new set of missions or similar that would give it a new set of legs. Same basic decisions, same missions, but the deck building in this game I do find fun. The game is the same thing most every time for me. My thoughts on the game after all of this. So I've finished the ten plays(the week before last actually). If you can't trim your deck down considerably by the I am seeing that it's the early games where you win or lose I think maybe I'm trying to hard toĪlso pick up the "Fighting" cards for the second mission.įinally! I forgot to record my score the first two rounds, so that's how I was only able to get rid of four of them. I really was not able to reduce my starting cards much at all. Going to reread the rules and watch a play through video later today, just to double check. Second mission I forgot to score, but I think it was close as well.įourth mission score of 10? I don't remember my alarm level for the first mission, but it was high. But I've yet to print it out and give it a go. I've read about it, heard about it and probably watched a video on it before. I will be starting February with this little game.
